Online Tajweed course

online Tajweed course is a program designed to teach you how to read the Holy Quran perfectly and beautifully.

Tajweed courses are available for learning the rules of Quranic recitation.

What do you study in Tajweed courses ?

    1. Makharij al-Huruf (Articulation Points of Letters):

      • This is fundamental. You learn the exact place in the mouth or throat where each Arabic letter originates. This is crucial for distinguishing letters that might sound similar to an untrained ear.
    2. Sifat al-Huruf (Characteristics/Qualities of Letters):

      • You study the inherent qualities of each letter (e.g., whether it’s heavy or light, strong or weak, flowing or interrupted). These characteristics affect how the letter is pronounced in different contexts.
    3. Ahkam an-Noon as-Sakinah wa at-Tanween (Rules of Noon Sakinah and Tanween):

      • This is a major part of Tajweed. You learn four main rules that apply when a silent Noon (Noon Sakinah) or a Tanween (double vowel sign, like -an, -in, -un) is followed by certain letters. These rules are:
        • Izhar (Clear Pronunciation): When to pronounce the Noon/Tanween clearly.
        • Idgham (Merging): When to merge the Noon/Tanween into the following letter.
        • Iqlab (Changing): When to change the Noon/Tanween sound to a Meem sound.
        • Ikhfa (Concealment): When to conceal the Noon/Tanween sound with a slight nasalization.
    4. Ahkam al-Meem as-Sakinah (Rules of Meem Sakinah):

      • Similar to Noon Sakinah, you learn rules that apply when a silent Meem (Meem Sakinah) is followed by certain letters:
        • Ikhfa Shafawi (Oral Concealment): When the Meem is concealed.
        • Idgham Shafawi (Oral Merging): When the Meem merges.
        • Izhar Shafawi (Oral Clear Pronunciation): When the Meem is pronounced clearly.
    5. Ahkam al-Madd (Rules of Elongation):

      • You learn when and how long to stretch or prolong certain vowel sounds. There are various types of Madd, each with specific conditions and durations (e.g., Madd Asli/Tabee’i, Madd Muttasil, Madd Munfasil, Madd Lazim, etc.).
    6. Ahkam ar-Raa (Rules of the Letter Raa):

      • You learn when the letter Raa should be pronounced with a heavy (Tafkheem) or light (Tarqeeq) sound.
    7. Ahkam al-Laam (Rules of the Letter Laam):

      • This includes rules like the “Sun” and “Moon” letters (Al-Huruf ash-Shamsiyyah wal-Qamariyyah), which dictate whether the Laam in the definite article “Al-” is pronounced or assimilated.
    8. Qalqalah (Echoing/Bouncing Letters):

      • You learn about specific letters that have a slight “bouncing” or “echoing” sound when they have a Sukoon (are silent) or at the end of a word.
    9. Waqf and Ibtida (Rules of Stopping and Starting):

      • You learn the correct and appropriate places to pause during recitation and how to restart the recitation if you stop in the middle of a verse. This is crucial for preserving meaning.
    10. Hamzatul Wasl (Connecting Hamza):

      • Understanding when this special Hamza is pronounced (at the beginning of speech) and when it’s dropped (when connecting words).
    11. Practical Application and Recitation Practice:

      • Throughout the course, a significant emphasis is placed on applying these rules in actual Quranic recitation. Students recite verses, and instructors provide feedback and corrections to ensure accurate application of Tajweed.

In Tajweed courses, you study the detailed rules and principles necessary to recite the Holy Quran correctly and beautifully. It’s about preserving the precise pronunciation and articulation of every letter and word, just as it was revealed.

Online Tajweed course for kids

An Online Tajweed course for kids is specifically designed to teach children (typically starting from around 4-5 years old) the rules of proper Quranic recitation, also known as Tajweed, in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate, and effective.

Why Our Online Tajweed Courses Are Great for Kids

Here’s what makes our online Tajweed courses perfect for younger learners:

  • Easy to Understand Lessons: We take the same important Tajweed rules adults learn (like how to pronounce letters, or when to stretch sounds) and break them down into simple, bite-sized pieces. We use everyday examples to explain trickier concepts, so kids can really grasp them without getting overwhelmed.

  • Fun, Engaging Teaching: We know kids have short attention spans! That’s why our courses are packed with:

    • Interactive games and puzzles to make learning feel like play.
    • Colorful visuals and animations that bring Arabic letters and pronunciation points to life.
    • Stories and rhymes that help rules stick in their minds.
  • Super Patient Teachers: Our instructors are specially trained to work with kids. They’re patient, encouraging, and adapt to each child’s pace, making learning a positive experience. Many lessons are one-on-one, so your child gets focused attention.

  • Real Practice, Real-Time Feedback: We focus on getting kids to actually recite the Quran. Our teachers provide instant feedback and gentle corrections, helping them apply the rules correctly from the start.

  • Building a Love for the Quran: Beyond just the rules, our goal is to instill a deep love and appreciation for the Quran in your child from a young age. We make the learning journey enjoyable and meaningful.

  • Parents Stay in the Loop: We keep parents informed with progress reports and encourage open communication, so you’re always connected to your child’s learning.

  • Step-by-Step Learning: We often start with the Noorani Qaida basics and then smoothly transition into more advanced Tajweed rules as your child gains confidence.
